I'm taking Judy Skeel's Wings workshop at www.dollstreetdreamers.com. The wings on the blue doll are made from organza and the wings on the other doll are made from tyvek.

I've been taking Judy Skeel's Wings workshop at www.dollstreetdreamers.com. The wings on the blue doll are made from angelina fibres and the wings on the yellow doll are printed on Overhead Transparency Paper.

Dolphins

We have recently returned from a weeks holiday in Cornwall which is close to the South West tip of England. We were very lucky, the weather was excellent on all days but one and it didn't rain on the not so excellent day.

On Tuesday we took a boat trip from Falmouth up the river Helford. We were very lucky and spotted dolphins. DH and I also had excellent viewing spots at the prow of the boat and I was able to take some video footage with my camera. I don't have a camcorder but my stills camera takes HD video. I uploaded the video to you tube. There are lots of videos on you tube of dolphins, most of which will be much more exciting than my video but these are "my" dolphins and I am pleased.

More of the shabby than of the chic. This didn't turn out at all the way intended. It was supposed to be a bag that you could turn over to make it look as if it were reversible.

Stray Socks

Both and black and the orange creatures are stray socks - they are both worn and bobbly. I think it means they look as if they are well loved.

I just love the piggy. Unfortunately it isn't made from a stray sock, I just had to buy a packet with wavy tops. The little creature is stray though because she was made from the pig's leftovers.

I recently bought the book Stray Sock Sewing and have had great fun.

The black one is the first one I made and the little pink one is made of left overs.
